The shopping area has been interpreted as a covered urban street, created with a well chosen use of ceramic floor tiles. With simple geometries and a subdued colour arrangements, the project outlines the pedestrian surface with soft colours and clean lines, defining transit areas, functional areas, main routes, stopping places and points of emphasis. This is a clear example of how excellent environmental quality results can be achieved without resorting to useless excess.
