191 companies with fully 210 projects participated in the fourth edition.
This prestigious recognition highlights the most outstanding socially responsible business initiatives undertaken by companies operating in Italy, including important enterprises such as Biticino, Vodafone, Wind, Telecom, Timberland , Procter & Gamble and Ital Cementi .
Casalgrande Padana was one of the first companies in its sector to make an active effort to combine dialoguing with the local community in which it operates, working hard to safeguard the environment, safety and health, with efforts to maintain and further develop market competitiveness.
An international pioneer in the research and development of porcelain stoneware, Casalgrande Padana has applied a patented system of signs and guided routeways to this type of tile called “Loges”, featuring a special language for the visually disabled. This system allows architectural barriers to be overcome and is intended to respond to the need for greater autonomy and safety on the part of the visually challenged as they move about in the world, especially in crowded transportation hubs like airports and subways as well as crowded urban areas in general.
