ABITARE IL TEMPO 2007

Casalgrande Padana will be taking part in the twenty-second "Abitare il tempo", to be held in Verona from 20 to 24 September. The setup, created by architect and designer Maurizio Duranti, will be part of the "Interior Architecture exhibition, ".... along with a series of projects in which the subject of living will be explored from different planning aspects but always in the attempt to formulate ideas that both interpret and provide answers to the complexity of the contemporary world.... ".

This is the context in which architect Duranti will interpret the "Egotic house" as a refuge where well-being can be found in the totalizing, physical and psychic sense. An emotive home where everything tends towards the sublime in a sweet alternation amongst past, present and future.

Casalgrande Padana will be a part of the Egotic house with Thassos floor tiles from the Marte collection in the 60x120 cm honed surface version and with Bianco Assoluto walls tiles in 15x60 cm strips subjected to a particular grinding process that achieves a three-dimensional effect. Thus ceramic tiles are quickly turning into architectural components and not merely finishing or decorating materials.
